Using Molecular Pixelation-based spatial proteomics, we analyze protein proximities at single-cell resolution across 8,000+ CAR T cells. In chronically stimulated cells, roughly half of the 76 surface markers show increased polarization, with notable changes in adhesion-associated proteins in the immune synapse.

These spatial rearrangement measurements reveal phenotypic information that’s invisible with protein expression alone, offering a new look into exhaustion at the T cell surface.
